How I work

A few commitments that apply to everything.

To everything published here, and to every engagement.

I disclose conflicts.

Any engagement where I hold an interest beyond the fee, any piece of writing that touches a company I have a position in, and any referral relationship that could color a recommendation is papered and stated plainly. You will never have to ask.

I verify before I publish.

If a claim cannot be verified, it does not go in. Public materials rank above company-provided materials. Vendor marketing, pitch decks, and press releases are not primary sources, for clients or for regulators.

I take no liberties with data.

Scores follow the written rubric, charts are labeled, time windows are justified, and methodology is disclosed. A maturity score you cannot trace to evidence is theater, and I do not sell theater.

I correct in the open.

Errors get date-stamped notes on the original piece. If a regulation moves and a published claim goes stale, the correction lands where the claim did. Silence is never the default.

I say what I am not.

Nothing here is legal advice, and I am not a lawyer, a certification body, or an audit firm of record. Where a question needs counsel, I say so and stop. Engagements are scoped in writing before they begin, and you will always know how I am paid.
